Puttur: Theft of Ornaments Worth Rs 50,000 by Trio under the Guise of Buyers

Puttur: A case has been filed in the town police station here regarding a theft in a gold shop by three persons posing as customers.

Three men and women, suspected to be of Andhra origin, arrived at the shop and kept on asking to see different designs and also haggling for price. They spent a long time in the premises and managed to steal a chain worth Rs 50,000. It was initially not noticed.

It was noticed by the staff later. The CCTV clipping has shown the face and features of the three persons.

The police are pursuing the case.
