Puttur: Tree Branch Falls on Two-wheeler – City Councillor Injured, Daughter Unhurt

Puttur: In a freak incident, Joachim D’Souza, a nominated member of the city municipal council, escaped with moderate injuries when a tree fell on his two-wheeler.

He was on his way to drop his daughter to college. As they reached the Bannur school road, a tree fell on them.

While D’Souza sustained injured, his daughter in the pillion escaped unhurt. He has been admitted to a hospital.

A case has been registered at the traffic police station here.
