Puttur: Unauthorized Slaughter-house in Bajattur Raided – Three Arrested

Puttur: An unauthorized slaughter-house operating in Irtila of Valalu village in the taluk was raided by the Uppinangady police on Sunday. Three young bulls were seized.

Besides, a weighing machine and other equipment, along with organs of slaughtered cattle, were seized by them.

The unauthorized slaughtering activity was being conducted near a channel inside a farm belonging to one Idinabba. Blue polythene sheets were used as a cover against rain and also outside view.

Mohammed Asif, Zainuddin aka Qamaruddin and Abdul Rahiman were arrested from the spot.
