Rahul Gandhi in UP’s Bundelkhand on Saturday

Mahoba (Uttar Pradesh), Jan 22 (IANS) Congress Vice President Rahul Gandhi will be in Uttar Pradesh on Saturday to interact with drought-hit farmers of the Bundelkhand region of the state, the party said.

Gandhi would meet farmers in Mahoba district to understand how they were coping with the prevailing drought conditions and participate in a seven kilometre long “Bundelkhand Bachao padyatra”, the Congress said.

He would also unveil a statue of former prime minister and his grandmother Indira Gandhi.
