Rajnath to visit flood-hit Assam

New Delhi, July 29 (IANS) Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh will visit on Saturday Assam, where floods have caused havoc and displaced thousands.

Rajnath Singh will make an aerial survey of the areas in Nagaon, Morigaon and Kaziranga districts and also visit a camp of people uprooted by the floods in Morigaon district, an official statement said on Friday.

He will also meet Assam Chief Minister Sarbananda Sonowal and government officers before returning to Delhi in the evening.
