METHOD:
SOAK THE CHANNA OVERNIGHT AND NEXT DAY WASH AND BOIL IT WITH SALT.DRAIN OUT THE WATER AND KEEP THE CHANNA ASIDE. TAKE A PAN AND HEAT OIL IN IT . WHEN IT BECOMES HOT ADD GARLIC CLOVES (CRUSHED), CURRY PATTA,AND WHOLE JEERA.WHEN JEERA SPLUTTERS, ADD PEEPER PD, JEERA PD, TURMERIC,AMCHOOR PD AND FRY FOR A MINUTE. THEN ADD THE DRAINED CHANNA AND MIX WELL. SQUEEZE THE LEMON JUICE OVER IT AND KEEP STIRRING TILL THE CHANNA ARE WELL COATED. GARNISH WITH CORIANDER LEAVES AND SERVE WITH PURIS, ROTIS OR AS SIDE DISH WITH RICE
