    Ingredients:

    1 chicken - cut into medium pieces.
    2 large onions - chopped lenghthwise.
    2 medium tomatoes - chopped fine.
    2 green chillies sliced lengthwise
    1 tablespoon red chilly powder
    1 tsp.full jeera(cumin seeds)
    1 tsp.jeera powder
    2 tablespoons coriander powder
    1 tsp.garam masala powder
    1 cup(250 ml.)cream(single whipped)
    Half cup ground cashew
    1 tablespoon kus kus(poppy seeds)
    1 tsp. turmeric powder
    1 tblspn.each ginger & garlic paste
    4 tblspn.of cookng oil
    salt to taste
    coriander leaves for garnishing.

    Method:

    1. Smear salt,turmeric, ginger & garlic paste to the chicken pieces and keep aside.
    2. In a heavy bottom saucepan, heat the oil and drop in the chopped onions. Let it be translucent.
    3. Add the green chillies, full jeera, chilly powder, coriander powder, garam masala and tomatoes. Fry the mixture for a while until the tomatoes are cooked.
    4. Add the ground cashew paste with the poppy seeds(kus kus).
    5. Fry the mixture together.
    6. Add the marinated chicken and fry the pieces till the masala is coated on all sides.
    If necessary, add about half cup of water to avoid getting burnt.
    7. After the chicken pieces are cooked, drop in the cream and let the gravy be cooked for about 5 minutes.
    8. Garnish with the coriander leaves.
