    INGREDIENTS:

    Minced beef (kheema) - 500 g
    Potatoes - 2 medium
    Onion - 1 big
    Tomatoes - 2
    Green chilly - 3
    Ginger - 1 inch
    Garlic - 4 cloves big
Corriander powder - 1 tea sp.
Cumin powder - 1/2 tea sp.
Garam masala powder - 1/2 tea sp.
Turmeric powder - 1/2 tea sp.
Black pepper powder - 1/2 tea sp.
    Cinnamon stick - 2 pieces
    Cloves - 6
    Cardamom - 3
    Corriander leaves - 1 cup
    Oil - 2 table sp.
    Salt to taste

    METHOD:

    * Chop finely onion, green chilly, ginger, garlic, tomatoes and corriander leaves.
    *  Cut potatoes into small peices.
    *  Wash meat and boil it with half of the ginger and garlic, cinnamon stick, cloves, cardomom, salt and little water.  Cook all this for 15-20 minutes.
    *  Heat oil in another vessel (non-stick is better), fry onion for a while, then add green chilly, remaining ginger and garlic, stir well.  Add in tomatoes and fry for 10 minutes.

Now add all the powders and fry for sometimes.  Add potato pieces and fry for 3 minutes.  Now add half cooked minced meat and mix well.  Leave it on a low flame untill meat is cooked completely.  Finally garnish with corriander leaves.

Serve hot with chapati or roti.
