    Ingredients:

Cooked Basmati Rice    - 1 Cup
    Oil    - 2 tbsp
    Mustard Seeds   - 2 tsp
    Bengal gram dal(Channa dal) - 1 tsp
Black gram dal (Urad dal) - 1 tsp
    Pepper Powder   - 1 tsp
    Turmeric Powder  - 1 tsp
    Grated Ginger   - 2 tsp
    Curry leaves   - 10
    Chopped Tomato  - 3
Chopped Coriander Leaves - 2 tbsp
    Salt to Taste

    Method:

Basmati Rice can be cooked and kept aside previously.

Heat oil in a wok over medium flame. Add mustard seeds. When they splutter, add black gram dal and bengal gram dal. Stir-fry till golden brown for 1-2 minutes. Add pepper (freshly ground pepper can be used to enhance taste) and turmeric powder. Stir-fry for few seconds. Add ginger and curry leaves. Mix well. Now add chopped tomato. Increase flame slightly, stirring often until tomato is soft and mixture thickens slightly for about 5 minutes. Add salt.

Finally add cooked rice to the wok and toss gently, taking care not to break the rice grains. Remove from heat and sprinkle coriander leaves.

    Serve hot!
