    Ingredients

    Rice - 2cups Jaggery - 11/2cups Scraped Coconut - 1cup Cumin Seeds - 1tbsp cardomons - 2-3 For cooking Ghee - 2-4tbsp Curry leaves Urad dal - 1/2tbsp Onions -11/2 if small Recipe First soak rice for around 4-5 hours.

    Now take the soaked rice along with all the other ingredints & grind it to fine paste.The batter consistency should be medium i.e. neither thin nor very thick. Now heat ghee in a non stick wide bottomed pan,add urad dal & curry leaves fry till urad dal turns little brown & then add onions, fry till the onions are brown then add the rice batter into it cover the pan tightly with a cloth & place a lid on it, so that the steam does not come out then cook it on medium flame for 1hr.Place a tava below the pan to avoid it from burning.
