    Daal Palak (Easy and Quick) Palak – one bunch Daal – Toor Daal one small cup (150gms) Oil : 5 table spoon Onions : 2 medium Garlic : 4 pods Ginger : 1/3 finger size Curry leaves: 8-10 Cumin seeds : ½ tea spoon Green chilly : 2 nos. Mustard seeds: ½ tea spoon Tomato : 2 medium size Corriender powder : 1 table spoon Turmeric powder : ½ tea spoon Method : fry the mustard seeds in oil when it finished add jeera and then add green chilli and curry leaves. Add immediately onions and fry for 5 minutes. Add ginger garlic nicely chopped and fry for 3 minutes. Add turmeric and corriender powder and fry for 2 minutes. Then add tomato and fry till it leaves the oil. Add palak (only leaves nicely chopped)and cook for 5-8 minutes without closing the cover. Cook Daal in cooker add to this and cook for 5 minutes. If you need spicy add ½ tea spoon of chilli powder along with turmeric and corriender powder.
