Karkala: Some residents of Erlapady, Gundibail, Badamikatte, Tantribettu and Pilikal in Neere village of Bailoor have reported having experienced minor tremors around 9-45 am on Thursday, Mar 17.
Neere Kanajar panchayat former president Ramesh Kallotte said that he and his family members came out of their house on feeling the tremors.
They saw many other neighbours also come out of their houses and sharing the same information.
Karkala tahsildar Raghavendra said that he had received a few calls on the same subject, adding that there was, however, no official information.
