Resigned Kota PSI Kabbalraj returns to duty
Udupi: The Police Sub-inspector of Kota Police station Kabbalraj, who had resigned, joined duty on September 23 after the intervention of higher officials.
On September 23 morning Kabbalraj returned to Udupi from Bantwal, met Superintendent of Police K T Balakrishna and reported to duty.
Speaking to mediapersons K T Balakrishna said, “Kabbalraj had resigned giving personal reasons. The job of the Police is always stressful, I had advised him on September 22 morning not to interfere in the ongoing civil dispute in Airody Panchayat limits near Sasthan. Later he left his resignation letter in the police station and was not reachable over the phone too. In the evening we succeeded to track him, he had gone to his wife’s house. Myself and our other officials counseled and convinced him to return to duty. Later he agreed”.
Kabbalraj has sought a transfer from Kota, we will consider it and send his request to the IGP western Range, said SP Balakrishna.
