Resigned Kota PSI Kabbalraj to Join Duty in two days
Udupi: The Kota PSI Kabbalraj who had resigned from his post will join duty in two days, said sources.
Speaking to Mangalorean.com SP Udupi K T Balakrishna said that the PSI was traced in Puttur in his wife’s house. We have held talks with him in the presence of the DySP. He has now agreed to join duty in two-three days, he said.
On September 22 morning Kabbal Raj handed over the resignation letter to his subordinate, with instructions to hand it over to the Superintendent of Police, and left the office in his personal car. While he had left the office he had also left his service revolver and the mobile sim card in the police station. The district police formed three teams to trace Kabbal Raj.
Former Udupi SP and also present Chikkamagaluru SP Annamalai also tried to Contact Kabbal Raj. In the evening his wife contacted the Kota police station and informed them that her husband is in Puttur.
