Rohit Kotian Murder – Three Brothers and Another Arrested

Mangaluru: Rohit Kotian (45) aka Rohi, a resident of Kadri Kambla locality, was found murdered in a building near the KSRTC bus-stand in Bijai on May 8.

A team of police led by Barke inspector Rajesh investigated the case and went after the lead of the autorickshaw in which the killers had arrived.

Based on the information gathered, the Barke and Kadri police arrested three brothers, Jagadish (36), Shivaji (35) and Yashwant (40), and Gautam Chandra (30) from Kandettu Bikarnakatte.

They were produced in court and sent to judicial custody.

The deceased Rohit and Jagadish reportedly had a dispute in financial matters and the latter had plotted to murder Rohit.

He brought along the other three accused and stabbed Rohit to death. They also assaulted Roshan who was with Rohit. He sustained near-fatal injuries.
