London, April 29 (IANS) Singer-actress Sarah Harding has admitted that having lip fillers was a “mistake”, but she has learned from it.

The 34-year-old singer-and-actress underwent the cosmetic procedure in her late 20s but insists that’s the only enhancement she has done to her features and can’t understand why people think otherwise, reports femalefirst.co.uk.

Speaking to Closer magazine, she said: “I don’t understand what people think I’ve had done. I can smile, I can frown, everything on my face moves. I’ve dabbled with my lips in the past, but that was a mistake and I learned from it. The only thing I’ve had done is getting my eyebrows tattooed on”.

The former Girls Aloud star admits the constant scrutiny of her appearance and lifestyle does upset her more than people realise.

She said: “People don’t know me, they see me and think, ‘She’s got a hard face’.

“They assume that because I look tough and I’m in the limelight, my feelings don’t get hurt. But I’m still a human being and I have emotions just like everybody else – people forget that. I wear my heart on my sleeve and, although I try to ignore negative comments, they do get to me,” Harding added.

Michelle Keegan doesn’t mind long-distance love

London, April 29 (IANS) Actress Michelle Keegan has admitted she doesn’t mind being away from her husband Mark Wright while she carries out work commitments.

The couple have been married for less than a year but have been spending long periods apart because of their work commitments, but the 28-year-old star — who is filming military drama “Our Girl” in South Africa — says she and her spouse are determined to make things “work”, reports femalefirst.co.uk.

“It’s not that bad being away for so long. When Mark was filming recently, he was away for three weeks at a time, then came back for five days and was off again for three weeks. I think it just comes with the job. As long as we’re happy that’s all that matters. We’ll make it work,” Keegan told Closer magazine.

The former “Coronation Street” star doesn’t mind getting recognised when she’s out and about but she hates being treated “differently” because of her fame.

“I don’t mind when people stare or do a double take because I do it too, as long as people are polite. The only thing I don’t like about being famous is when people start to treat you differently. People presume because you’re in the public eye, you change,” she added.

Rose Leslie is all praise for her ‘Luther’ co-stars

Los Angeles, April 29 (IANS) Actress Rose Leslie, who stars as Idris Elba’s police sidekick in season four of the BBC police drama series “Luther”, is in awe with her co-actors. The star felt she was “working with a bunch of geniuses” .

Speaking about her experience in the BBC drama series, Leslie, who played Ygritte in “Game of Thrones”, said in a statement: “I personally felt that I was working with a bunch of geniuses. And you know these men are phenomenal. Phenomenal at what they do, from Neil Cross, Sam Miller, Idris Elba to our DOP to our crew to the rest of the cast”.

“Really, there’s absolute camaraderie on set. They just sort of fall into place and then step back out again and then everyone’s kind of like giggling and chuckling and I think that you have to find comic relief in something that is so brutal and nasty with the subject matter,” she added.

Season 4 of “Luther” will air on FX in India on May 2.

Kesha’s mother drops her claims against Dr. Luke

Los Angeles, April 29 (IANS) Singer Kesha’s mother Pebe Sebert has dropped counterclaims for “intentional and negligent infliction of emotional distress, misrepresentations and fraudulent inducement” she made against Dr. Luke.

Rosemary Patricia “Pebe” Sebert has chosen to withdraw her claims against the producer, which she previously claimed arose as a direct result from the alleged sexual assault on her daughter, reports femalefirst.co.uk.

Dr. Luke’s attorney Christine Lepare said: “Pebe Sebert’s voluntary withdrawal of all her claims against Dr. Luke is her acknowledgement that her claims are meritless. Dr. Luke’s defamation and other claims continue against Pebe and Kesha Sebert.”

Despite her withdrawal, Dr. Luke is still suing Pebe for defamation and tortious interference in Tennessee, United States, as he alleges she worked with her daughter to tarnish his name and reputation after they disagreed about a part of the contract.

It was previously revealed that the 29-year-old singer will have to testify under oath regarding the allegations of sexual assault she made against Dr. Luke. She has been issued a subpoena by the court to be questioned in an on-camera deposition in June in New York City.

Meanwhile, Kesha’s appeal to be released from her record label was rejected by the court earlier this month.
