Shatrughan Sinha to Visit Mangaluru on April 14 – Harish Kumar

Mangaluru: Indian Film actor and politician Shatrughan Sinha will visit Mangaluru on April 14 to campaign for the coalition candidate Mithun Rai”, said the district Congress president Harish Kumar in a press meet held at the DCC office here on April 13.

Addressing the mediapersons Harish Kumar said, “We have completed the first round of our campaign and have received a very good response. People are attracted towards our candidate and we are confident of winning the LS polls.”

Harish Kumar further said, “This election is between an inactive MP and an active candidate. BJP candidate Nalin Kumar in his 10 years of tenure as MP did not work for the development of the district. The Mazgon Dock was shifted to Mumbai and the Indian Horticulture Research Centre in Sullia will be shifted to Hyderabad. Half of the NMPT is now with Chettinad Company. The Vijaya bank has been merged with the Bank of Baroda and the Airport has been given to Adani. But our MP has still not raised his voice against all these negative developments concerned to our district. In this election, we are sure that people will surely elect our candidate.”

MLC Ivan D’Souza and others were also present.
