Mumbai (Agencies): Sonam Kapoor is not just a fashionista but a great actor too. The actress, who plays the protagonist in Neerja Bhanot’s biopic, gets slapped and kicked by her co-star in real for doing justice to her role.
Model Abrar Zahoor, who plays the antagonist in the film, told Times Of India that some scenes in the film required him to slap and kick Sonam and as the filmmaker wanted the scenes to be real, the actress didn’t mind getting slapped by him in real.
In one of the scenes, he has even kicked Sonam in the stomach.
Earlier, in an interview with DNA, Sonam had revealed that she got bruises while shooting for the film and she has not used any body double.
Sharing his experience of working with Sonam, Abrar stated that the actress is quite humble and it was amazing to work with her.
Neerja Bhanot was a 23-year-old flight attendant who had saved lives during the 1986 hijacking of an American airliner in Karachi.
