Six injured in UP road mishap

Kanpur, Jan 13 (IANS) At least six school teachers were injured here on Wednesday when the bus they were travelling in was hit by a speeding truck, police said.

Following the collision, the school vehicle was badly damaged and it took some time for police and the passerby to pull the injured teachers out.

The incident happened near the Ghatampur Chauraha in Kanpur.

The driver has also sustained serious injuries while two teachers are said to be critical.

The injured, who are in critical condition have been identified as Kanchan Singh and Neetu.
