The Border Security Force is overseeing the rescue operations. Rescuers monitoring him for last 12 hours say he has not shown any movement since morning.

Rescue teams are digging a parallel hole near the borewell to pull the child out.

Meanwhile, Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan said in a tweet, “Serious efforts are on by the rescue team to save the child. Doctors are also present at the spot and I pray for the long life of Abhay, who fell in a borewell in Kheria village.”
