Sonia expresses grief over electrocution deaths in Rajasthan

New Delhi, June 12 (IANS) Congress President Sonia Gandhi on Friday expressed grief at the tragic deaths of 15 people in Rajasthan’s Tonk district due to a high tension live wire falling over a bus.

Extending her condolences to the families of the deceased, Gandhi hoped immediate relief and compensation was being provided, the Congress said in a statement here.

The bus was carrying a wedding party from Bachera to Morla village when it came in contact with a high tension wire near Saans village, around 100 km from Jaipur, leaving 15 dead on the spot and 35 others with burn injuries.
