Kuwait: Santhosh Saliyan (26 Yr) who hails from Kinnigoli and Yogish Poojary ( 25 Yr) from Kavoor died by drowning after they were swept away by strong waves while swimming in the Mehabulla beach,near Fahaheel, Kuwait yesterday evening at 6.30pm.

The accident happened when both Saliyan and Poojary had gone swimming with their friends. Although their friends tried their best to rescue them, it was all in vain. Fire brigade, police and Water Rescue Team are still searching for the missing bodies. While the search still continues, a case has been registered with the police.
