Udupi: Express Bus and Tanker Collide at Pangala - Passengers injured

Udupi: Many passengers of a express bus plying from Mangalore to here were injured when it collided head-on at Pangala on NH66 on Thursday, June 28.

The tanker is said to have been on its way from Rajasthan to Mangalore. Eyewitnesses have blamed the tanker driver for speeding. He is reported to be severely injured. Many passengers in the bus have also been injured. Details are yet to be available.

Traffic from either side was disrupted. Kaup SI Archana and circle police inspector Shivanand Walekar visited the spot and helped in clearing the traffic jam.
