Mangalore : Youflik.com a social network created by Prithviraj a Xth standard student from St Aloysius High School was launched at the school auditorium here on July 2.

Prithviraj speaking to mangalorean.com said, "I never expected that I will complete this site so soon and launch it today.  It is my dream project.  More features will be added gradually, I will make a mark in web designing.  I am very happy and overwhelmed that finally my dream project has turned into reality".

Fr Elvis addressing the gathering said, "Sabir Bhatia, is the creator of Hotmail.com and he was the old student of St Joseph's college, Bangalore which is run by the Jesuits. Now the hotmail website is bought by the multi million company for a huge amount.  Prithviraj has the same genes of Sabir Bhatia and he has proved today by launching youflik.com".  Further he said today by sitting at home we can interact with people who are in other countries, and it is a innovative method of getting connected with people.  Now the world is modern and modern generation prefers internet and they browse the internet for news instead of reading newspapers. On the web, children can get useful topics and sometime students adopt some bad habits too, but if students have innovative ideas they will come out with great things like Prithviraj. 

Headmaster of St Aloysius High School, Fr Edward addressing the gathering said, "Teachers here have worked as gardeners and today a flower called Prithviraj is bloomed".  He continued and said that any work starts with a small step, let this small step turn into a big success.  Prithiviraj himself is a child and he has given birth to a child called "Youflik.com".  He is a child prodigy and we all are proud of his achievement in the internet world" 

Fr  Edward assured all the support from the institution towards Youflik.com.  G K Bhat teacher of St Aloysius High school compered the programme.  Cheryl Prabhu delivered the vote of thanks. 

When Zuckerberg's dream child 'facebook' had captured the minds of the youth of Mangalore, there was no need to encourage this whizkid who has already stepped into a great project and has already unveiled his dream project.

When youflik.com proves successful and gains world attention, Mangaloreans should be proud to belong to this City, and also in the meantime be overwhelmed and proud of this Mangalorean dreamboy! Congrats and best of luck to Prithviraj in his unique venture from mangalorean.com team.
