Udupi: Prabhakar Poojary Assumes Office as President of Municipality Standing Committee

| Report by Michael Rodrigues Pics by Janardhan Kodavoor Team Mangalorean Udupi Udupi: Prabhakar Poojary, from Gundibail Ward having been elected for Udupi Municipality Standing Committee as its new President, the Installation Ceremony was held in the Municipality Standing Committee President's Office on Wednesday July 4, 2012. He assumed office from the out- going President Navin Bhandary and appealed for everyones support & co-operation in the discharge of his duties as its new President.


Kiran Kumar, President of Udupi City Municipality ; Vice President Bharathi Chandrashekar ; and members Indira Shekar & Shyam Prasad Kudwa were present on the occasion.
Prabhakar Poojary, had earlier served as a BJP Yuva Morcha President, and also had been the President of Gundibail Doddanna Gudde Billawa Seva Sangha. |
