Kasargod:  In a shocking incident, Ashwin a 19 year old Student lost her life when she was fatally knocked down by a moving Express train near Neeleswaram Railway station on July 10.

The young girl of this tragic accident has been identified as Ashwini, a first-year B.Sc. student at Govinda Pai Memorial College, Manjeswar.

The tragedy occurred while she was crossing the double rail track,  on her way to board the Mangalore-bound Malabar Express, unfortunately an Express train from Mangalore to Chennai Egmore ran her over, police said.
