Kuwait: Indo-Kuwait Friendship Society, a non-profit socio-cultural, friendship association in Kuwait, has sent a  letter of Congratulations to H.E. Pranab Mukherjee, the 13th President of Republic of India for winning as  the President of  World’s Biggest Democratic Country, India. Mukherjee, 76, who was most recently finance minister, is one of India's most experienced politicians.  He hails from West Bengal, and was widely considered the Congress-led United Progressive Alliance (UPA) government's most trusted and able strategists.

“We are proud that Your Excellency has the majority of 527 votes from a total of 748 Members of Parliaments”.
