Team Mangalorean - Bantwal

Bantwal: In separate cases, two married men, both good friends, have gone missing around the same time. Both have passed on vague messages to their wives initially and then on remained without communication.

Abdul Rahiman (30) aka Andunhi of Kodangai in Vittal Padnur village and Haneef (32) aka Eli Haneef of Banari Mangilapadavu near Vittal are the friends who have gone missing after both left their respective homes around 10 am on Wednesday, July 25.

Neither stayed away from home overnight and had a practice of returning home however late it could be. Their mobiles have been giving 'switched off' message. Haneef called his wife Zeenat on Thursday, saying he was in Goa and would return on Thursday. Andunhi too called his wife Zohra around the same time to convey the news in a vague way that he was in Mysore.

Thereafter, there has been no communication from either and their mobiles have been giving the switched off response.

Complaints have been filed in Vittal police station.
