Udupi: Police constable Suresh Naik’s "Nee Sooryanadare, Bhoomi Thirugale beku" (If you become the sun, Earth must move around you) was released in District Reserve Police Head Quarters Chandu Maidan here on Sunday July 29, 2012.

Well-known writer Sharada Bhat, inaugurated the programme by lighting the lamp and said that  "Public have an bad image about police because they are the ones clad in khakhi dress and always wielding lathi charge.   Working for 24 hrs discharging their duties, police  bring out such positive thinking to the light through this book, this effort is laudable".

Dr. MB Boralingaiah, Police Superintendent of Udupi district released the book and  said that :"The book has been brought out amidst  Naik's discharge from duty, it is indicative of his talent that needs praise.  He through this effort has paved way for other in the department to showcase their talents. Negative thinking fritters your energy by taking you to wrong directions. You need to utilise time fruitfully amidst troubles too. Toady there is no such encouragement from the public for anything good that is done.  But yet having persons of this type makes us proud".
