Cincinnati: Stanford University Welcomes Mangalore Lad Bradly For Study Tour

Cincinnati, Ohio: Bradly Ivan D'Souza a senior at Sycamore High School, Cincinnati, Ohio, attended "Business and Entrepreneurship" Conference at the prestigious Stanford University, Palo Alto, California from July 20 to July 29, 2012. This conference was attended by students from all over the world.

LeadAmerica, one of the nation's educational leaders, for high-achieving high school students, invited Bradly Ivan D'Souza to explore his future path, to discover what inspires him the most and achieve his passion.

Stanford University is recognized as one of the world's leading research and teaching institutions. Located between San Francisco and San Jose in the heart of Silicon Valley, Stanford University sits on 8,000 acres of foothills and plains - once a horse farm belonging to Jane and Leland Stanford and still fondly known as "the Farm". Leland and Jane Stanford founded the University to "promote the public welfare by exercising an influence on behalf of humanity and civilization." Stanford opened its door in 1891, and more than a century later, it remains dedicated to finding solutions to the great challenges of the day and to preparing students for leadership in today's complex world.

Bradly explored the Federal Reserve Bank of San Francisco, and learned about the role of US nation's federal reserve system on business and the economy. Bradly visited the Walt Disney Family Museum, and learned about the life of Walt Disney as an entrepreneur, and a businessman. Visited Urban Ore, and learned about business making a profit by recycling and reselling reusable items in the Bay Area. Bradly prepared himself for the future through LeadAmerica's college and career success workshops and formulated a Personal Vision and Mission Statement that will serve to guide him in the upcoming years. Bradly had the privilege and pleasure, to walk across the San Francisco, Golden Gate Bridge and tour University of Berkeley.

At Stanford University, Bradly launched himself on the path of college readiness and personal development, while fostering real world skills that will help him to achieve his aspirations today and in the future. Bradly completed the challenging academic curriculum and the relevant college and career success workshops at LeadAmerica's Business and Entrepreneurship conference. Through leading practitioners and academics, Paul Wright Ed.D., President and CEO of Palo Alto Chamber of Commerce, Bradly gained practical career insight and engaged challenging issues that will assist him both now and throughout his academic and professional career. Central to Bradly's experience, the Business Venture Simulation exposed Bradly to many fundamental career skills of a 21st Century Business Leader including marketing, entrepreneurship, and how to write a business plan.

Bradly who is seventeen hails from Mangalore , and is the son of Harold and Dancy D'Souza. Bradly has a younger brother Rohan fourteen, the rising freshmen in tennis.
