Kuwait: It was a great evening with atmosphere of festivity. All the members of GSB Sabha kuwait gathered at Abhuhalifa at the residence of  Chitra and  Haridas Acharya to celeberate Janmastami.

The celebrations began with  singing bhajans praising Lord Krishna by the members of Bhajan Mandali while Dr.Surendra Nayak K and Eknath Vernekar accompanied with the harmonium and tabla.

Most of the members were on fasting till evening to offer the sacred Tulasi which was the most favorite to Lord Krishna. The Tulsi was offered with chanting, Vishnu Sahasra namarchana, Astottara Shata nama, Keshavadhi Chaturvishanthi on the occasion.

This was followed by Arghya Pradhan which is considered the most auspicious offering in the whole celebration. Surendra Kamath, R D Baliga, Jagadeeshwar Shanbhag, Uday Vernekar, Dinesh Kamath, Shrinath Bhat, Shrinivas Prabhu, Ramesh Kamath, Mohandas Kamath, Sudhir Shenoy, Shashidhar Bhandary and Nagaraj Shanbhag also offered Sahasra Namarchana.

At Midnight after the birth time of Lord Krishna the programme ended with Mangalaarathi.
