Uppinangady: The robbers made an attempt to decamp with jewellery from four houses at Athoor in Ramakunja village. The miscreants got away with a sum of Rs. 11,000 from two houses.

The miscreants had also broken into the houses of Khallel, Imithiyaz at Golithadi; and Cibu Joseph and Sharif Musliyar at Athoor. The thieves tried to rob these homes when the occupants were away. The thieves have searched for the valuable in the cupboards in the house. But, were not successful in getting any valuables in the houses.
