Mangalore: Priyanka (19), a salesgirl employed in a textile shop at K B Katte in the city, is said to have gone missing since August 12.

She had not returned home after work on August 12. When her family members went to the shop to enquire about her on August 13, they were told that she had collected her salary around 6-30 pm on the previous day and left.

Ever since, her mobile has been responding with a 'switched off' message, according to a complaint filed by her mother Sujata at the Bunder police station.

She stands five feet tall and has a longish face, wheatish complexion and medium body structure. She speaks Kannada and Tulu. She wore white trousers and chocolate-coloured top at the time of leaving, says the complaint. Anyone knowing her whereabouts is requested to contact the Bunder police station.
