Mangalore: CorpBank Donates Wheelchairs for Use at Railway Station

Mangalore: Physically challenged persons will have better experience from now on at the central railway station here.

To mark the Independence Day of the country, Corporation Bank has donated three wheelchairs for the the benefit of such persons while boarding and alighting.

At a function held in the corporate office of the bank here on Wednesday, bank chairman and managing director Ajai Kumar handed over the wheelchairs to station master P M Radhakrishnan and assistant station master Kishen Kumar.

Executive directors Ashwani Kumar and Amarlal Daultani were present on the occasion.

Ajai Kumar said that the donation was a token of the bank's social commitment and its determination to re-dedicate itself to the nation and society on the occasion of the Independence Day.
