Sri Siddivinayaka Pratistana to Hold Ganeshotsav from Sept 5

Mangaluru: Sri Siddivinayaka Pratistana(R), held a press meet at Omkar Nagar, Bunts Hostel here on August 30.

Addressing the mediapersons president of Buntara Yane Nadavara Matr Sangha and Managing Trustee of Sri Siddivinayaka Pratistana Ajith Kumar Rai Maladi said, “From past 12 years we are celebrating Ganeshotsava. To mark the 13th Sarvajanika Sri Ganeshotsav, we will be organizing various programmes. This year the celebrations will begin from September 5 and end on 7. Prior to the celebrations on September 3, we have organized an evening with the Ex-servicemen.

On September 4, at 5:00 pm, the Idol of Sri Siddi Vinayaka will be brought in a procession from Sri Radhakrishna Temple to the venue. On September 5, at 9:15 am, the three-day Ganeshotsav programme will begin by hoisting the flag. Later various programmes will be held.

On September 7, at 3:30 pm, there will be the immersion Puja, Bhajans programme inauguration, the procession will begin from Omkar Nagar and pass via – Bunts Hostel Circle – PVS – Dongarakeri – New Chitra Talkies – Carstreet and the idol will be immersed into the Shree Mahammayi Temple pond.

Manjunath Bhandary Shedde, Raviraj Shetty Nitteguthu, Krishna Prasad Rai Bellippadi, K Balakrishna Shetty Belli Bettuguthu, Dr Ahsa Jyothi Rai and others were also present.
