Srinivas Bhat and Raghavendra remanded Judicial custody till September 6
Udupi: Srinivas Bhat and Raghavendra were produced before the court for helping the accused Niranjan Bhat, in destroying evidence in the Hotelier Bhaskar Shetty’s murder case, here on August 31.
Both were produced before the chief Judicial Magistrate by Investigation officer Chandrashekar DySP CID.
After the hearing, the chief Judicial Magistrate extended the Judicial Custody till September 6.
Srinivas Bhat’s lawyer Vikram Hegde appealed to the court that his Client Shrinivas Bhat is suffering from heart pain. The Advocate appealed to the court to give instructions to the jailer to provide medical treatment.
Blood samples of Bhaskar Shetty’s mother Gulabi and brothers have been collected for DNA tests. The district hospital doctors had collected the blood samples on August 31 morning in the presence of the chief Judicial Magistrate.
