Steven Tyler premiers music video for country single

Los Angeles, July 5 (IANS) Singer Steven Tyler has premiered the official music video for his first country single, “Love is your name”on ABC’s “Good Morning America.

The Aerosmith frontman unleashes his inner country star in the visuals directed by Trey Fanjoy, reports aceshowbiz.com.

In the video, Tyler is mostly seen performing the song in a white shirt and tight pants teamed with several necklaces while sporting his long hair.

Meanwhile, a blonde girl dressed in white is dragging multi-colored sashes as she walks through the streets.

“This video has so many personal elements in it for me,” Tyler said of the clip, which was shot near Nashville.

“I came from a family that was a touring band. I grew up as a young boy with my pet raccoon and my slingshot. My real band Loving Mary is featured in the video. This song and video both resemble what the album will sound like,” he added.

The music video is also streaming on Steven Tyler’s official Vevo Youtube channel.

“Love is your name” was released last May as the lead single off Tyler’s upcoming country solo album, which will be released by Big Machine Records.

The full-length is currently in the works and won’t be finished until the former “American Idol” judge and his Aerosmith bandmates complete their summer tour.
