Subrahmanya: Rider Dies on Spot as Scooter Skids on State Highway

Subrahmanya: Rajendra (52), son of Aryan and resident of Tamil repatriates’ colony in Aittur, died in a road mishap on Thursday.

Employed in the Bilinele rubber factory of the Karnataka Forest Development Corporation, he was on his way back home after work, riding his scooter on the Uppinangady-Subrahmanya state highway. The scooter skidded near the Aittur panchayat office.

He is said to have suffered severe injuries in the head and died on the spot. He is survived by wife and four daughters.

A case has been registered by the Kadaba police.
