Subrahmanya: Skeleton Found in Reserve Forest Suspected to be of Local Young Man

Subrahmanya: Tirumaleshwara (23), a young man from Argudi, who had already lost his parents, was reportedly missing for some time. A brother of his had also committed suicide a few years ago.

Nothing was heard about him until now. Since he had no immediate family members, no one had complained about his having gone missing.

But on Monday, when the forest personnel were on their rounds in the reserve forest on Monday, the spotted some skeletal remains of a human, including the skull. They called for forensic experts from Mangaluru. Dr Arun and Dr Bhuvaneshwar arrived and they held an examination of the remains in the presence of police.

Based on physical dimensions, the skeleton is suspected to be of Tirumaleshwara. Further laboratory analysis is yet to be held for confirmation.

A case has been registered in the Subrahmanya police station.
