Subrahmanya: Wage-earner Found Run over on Railway Track near Edamangala

Subrahmanya: A male mutilated body was found on the Hassan-Mangaluru railway track at Golitadka near Edamangala on Friday evening.

He was identified as Kunhi Mera (30) of Bolmannu. He is suspected to have been run over by a goods train that plied over the track some time earlier.

He worked as a daily wage-earner. He was not married and had an addiction towards alcohol, said those who knew him. He might have lost his balance while crossing, they felt.

Police from Subrahmanya and railway officials from Puttur visited the spot and registered a case.
