Sullia: Vehicle with Cattle Lifted from Roadside Intercepted – One Arrested, Three Escape

Sullia: An attempt by a group of four to steal cows which were resting by the side of the road at Parivarakana on the outskirts was foiled by the public on Sunday.

The quartet had just loaded three cows into a transport rickshaw and were about to leave. An alert group of immediate residents stopped them.

They could catch hold of just one of the culprits, while the other three managed to escape in the commotion.

Murugan of Bandadka was handed over to the police. He has revealed the names of the three who escaped as Prabhakar Bandadka, Ummer Pandy and Babu Gandhinagar.

Murugan was produced in court, which sent him to judicial custody.
