Mangaluru: Passengers scheduled to travel by the Air India Express flight to Dammam in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia on Monday evening had a harrowing time before take-off from the city.
A technical snag developed and the flight that was to depart at 6-45 pm could not take off. Passengers were stranded in the airport for over seven hours.
After technical experts arrived from Mumbai, the problem was fixed. The flight finally took off to Dammam at 1-50 am on Tuesday.
