Kabul, Sep 22 (IANS) A terror attack was foiled in Afghan capital Kabul following tight security measures taken in the city ahead of Eid al-Adha celebrations, the media reported on Tuesday.

According to Kabul police Chief Abdul Rahman Rahimi, a motorcycle with explosive materials hidden under its seat was found near the Hamid Karzai International Airport, Khaama Press reported.

The explosives were connected with a cell phone for detonation, Rahimi added.
