The Breaking of The Blind

We generally talk about problems rather than solutions. Discussions on how to prevent a mistake being done are generally avoided. We often read nowadays young students joining extremists groups which is really alarming. In this article, we will find out whether science and psychology can offer a solution to the problem. I have made a small effort on how to ignite the mind towards the vastness surrounding us and satisfy the curiosity of complex things in a simple way through examples so that we can prevent falling to cheaper things around us.

Being born in one of the finest lands, we are the victims of communal tensions on almost a daily basis. Recently, when I was passing through the city in the early morning hours in the drizzling rain, I really felt very comfortable. I just wonder whether this is the same city which makes daily headlines for negative reasons. What makes it different as day breaks out and the early morning peace is shattered? The big difference is the quality of a few people occupy the streets destroying the peace of others.

A seemingly innocent quiet young adult falls into confusion and transforms into a fireball in a few days. Being educated and well groomed as their parents claim, we still have this problem in the land of education. What is going wrong? Why do these good children deviate so easily? How and who transforms them? How can we avoid it from happening? The reason behind these serious questions needs to be understood. How do seemingly good children fall into such traps so quickly and can’t understand hidden agendas? We give various reasons to explain how a person falls into a terror trap. But no one addresses why such vacuum builds up in their minds in the first place. Why can they not discern what is being fed to them as incorrect?

The answer lies in the environment at home and at school. Does religion have a hand in this? The answer is no. Only a few people are to blame. With advancing technology and science, these communal tensions should have gone down but what is happening is quite the opposite. There is a huge drawback in the way we bring up our children and young adults. Communication is almost broken and machines like phones and computers have negatively supplemented the emotional support. The current youth are emotionally very fragile simply because they don’t get enough love. They may have educational titles but lack maturity. That is the reason why high profile degree holders to fall prey to this so-called “mission of saving and protecting God, Culture, and Religion”, and this problem exists across all religions.

Can implementing science and psychology in the earlier stages help cure this? Those who have tried it, have received encouraging results. We are hardly teaching anything extra to our children other than what they are taught from the school syllabus either at school or at home. That is the reason they are so narrow-minded and hardly aware of anything about the vastness surrounding them. Many simple things about science and psychology that we see and observe on a daily basis if taught in the early stages can do wonders to their mindset. Even many complex things can be put across in a simple understanding way.

I told a group of young students in a seminar the time required to travel from Earth to Alpha Centauri with the maximum speed humans have achieved as of now and a few things to elaborate the enormity of God to explain why God and religion should not be used as toys. The students were stunned. Their mouths were wide open to hear that it takes thousands of years to get to our nearest star system!! Generations after generation also can’t reach there with the present maximum speeds we have achieved. There are billions, trillions of such stars and the universe is still expanding at the same speed or more than it was at the beginning! When we haven’t understood or reached out to even a single star, how do we even begin to understand the very vast universe around us? How do we understand the mighty universe and its
creator, God? I picked up topics which we hardly talk about but relatively easy to understand. Before the evil teachings corrupt the young minds, we need to establish a protective layer around them. Nowhere is it being taught. The time has come to teach our children the mysteries of our universe, the creation of God rather the creation of people and their falsely glorified achievements.

This step will be a launching pad towards bringing back the forgotten and lost the peace. Recently, it has been agreed and proved beyond doubt that alien life exists and they are visiting us, trying to reach us, explore the way we explore the outer space which means we are not alone in this huge creation of God. There is much-advanced life waiting out there. Let us keep cheaper things aside and focus on mysteries of God.

Here is a simple illustration how complex things may be explained in a simple way. I was often wondering how a massive load of plane lifts off so easily and flies for hours before it touches down. One of my friends who works as an Air Traffic Controller explained it to me in a very simple way. He just told me to extend my hand and lifted my palm from the bottom with his hand and said my question is answered!! The basic logic behind the flying is simple. When the pressure at the bottom of the body of the plane is more than at the top, the plane lifts off from the ground. Its shape helps it in the process. He further told me that landing is nothing but controlled falling from

The type of education which we received and now what our children are receiving without any changes in syllabus, approach or content is not serving the purpose under the changing scenario. There is an urgent need to introduce interesting and stimulating science and psychology at early stages to prevent innocent mindsets from becoming explosive. The children of today are capable of digesting much more than what they are taught at present. Even if in certain cases if it is difficult to digest, it can change the way we look into our immediate surroundings, with much more curiosity and awareness. I feel it is we who are preventing them getting better as intellectual and matured human beings by not feeding them the right thoughts. The phrase “we reap what we sow” perfectly suits this situation.

Plant curiosity and good thoughts, which will prevent the mind getting into cruel ideas. It is psychologically proven that no terrorist or criminal or a deviated person is irrational. They have a clear mindset like any one of us and that’s how they plan their cruelty so meticulously and execute it without any error.

Ask any rioter who creates unrest and fear in the name of God and religion, he won’t be able to tell anything about “science of God” because that was never told to him. They can’t exhibit positivity. At the same time ask them about the current trend of negative politics, blind beliefs about religion, traditions and about the misconception of God; they will be able to talk for hours, may be incorrect because that is what is being fed to them at different levels. They prefer violence over love because of the wrong environment and teachings they receive. We need to just replace the negative programming with the positive. The environment at home has a higher responsibility followed by schools.   I have noticed one important aspect of those preachers of God and religion, they don’t know the vastness of the universe in which they exist. No one taught them, neither had they made any effort to understand it. That is the reason why they teach a few wrong things so convincingly because they don’t know that it is wrong!!

I think that the advancement of science and technology is a signal sent by God to impart understand among ordinary humans, who think of protecting God and religion (!!), about his enormous capability. This small revolution in the field of science should help us to say a strong yes to the presence of God rather questioning about him and misusing his name in the name of various religions. Take any religion, we all have seen and say that these strong beliefs in blind practicing come because they are taught at a tender age. The need of the hour is to build a protective layer at the same age by teaching stimulating science and psychology and it is possible.

A question may arise why people with higher qualification in advanced countries also fall trap. The answer is they are also those people who get wrong and faulty environment at home and surroundings irrespective of their geographical existence. It is an individual error in perceiving things in the absence of positive feedback.
