Theft in Perampalli – Loss of Rs 2.97 Lakh Reported

Manipal: Hayagreeva Bhat, resident of 11th main road in V M Nagar in Perampalli, had locked his house and gone to Bengaluru with his family members.

On returning on July 11, they found that the house had been broken into. The main door’s lock was cracked. Gold ornaments weighing 121 gms had been taken away. About Rs 3,000 kept in the puja room also were missing.

The total loss is reported to be Rs 2.97 lakh. A case has been registered at the Manipal police station.
