Theft of Rs 90,000-worth Jewellery from House at Ananthashayana
Karkala: Sushant Nayak, a resident of Nagarabavi in Anantashayana here, and family members had gone to Mangaluru to attend a programme on Friday and were away from home.
When they returned on Saturday afternoon, the house was found broken into. Miscreants had taken away gold jewellery including chains, bangles and coins and a silver puja lamp.
The total value of the stolen goods is said to be Rs 90,000. A case has been registered at the Karkala town police station.
