Three held in Bangladesh for pasting anti-Modi posters

Dhaka, June 6 (IANS) Police in Bangladesh have arrested three activists of the radical Islamist Hizb ut-Tahrir political party for pasting posters denouncing Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s visit to the country, a media report said on Saturday.

A police officer said they were detained while sticking the posters at Chittagong Veterinary and Animal Sciences University on Friday, reported.

“They were pasting posters against the Indian prime minister’s visit and the state. Students nabbed them and informed police,” the officer said.
