Three Hyderabad men arrested from Nagpur for trying to join IS

Hyderabad: The Anti Terrorism Squad (ATS) on Saturday arrested three Hyderabad men from Nagpur airport for trying to join Islamic State.


They were nabbed on their way to join an Islamic state terrorist group in Afghanistan, reports India Today. They had arrived from Hyderabad on Friday by road, and had planned to board an Indigo flight at Nagpur.

The operation was jointly conducted by the Telangana police and Maharashtra Anti-terrorist squad.

Earlier, the families of the students had lodged missing complaints at different police stations in Telangana.

  1. Yes, three ‘Hyderabad men’!! What a clear, perfect description by media who firmly believes that terrorists have no religion. LOL After all, religious links have to be highlighted and talked about ONLY when the people involved are from majority community.
