Three Peddlers with 800 gms Ganja Arrested on Udupi-Ambagilu Bypass

Udupi: The excise police from here found three ganja-peddlers opposite the fish market along the Ambagilu bypass and arrested them on Sunday, Mar 6 evening.

Shekhar Bommegowda from Sirsi in Uttar Kannada district, Hemant Hanumantappa of Hanchinakere and Ananda Mariappa of Ganesh Nagar were arrested.

They were found possessing ganja weighing 800 gms. An Omni car and two mobile phones were also seized from them.

The total value of the seized items is placed at Rs 3.50 lakh. Excise officials and a veterinarian also took part in the operation.
