Three SRS Activists Arrested in St Thomas School case

Mangaluru: The Kankanady Rural police have arrested three activists of Sri Rama Sene in connection with creating panic at the St Thomas Aided school in Padu Bondathila, on July 31.

The arrested have been identified as Dinesh, Nitin and Santhosh.

The activists of Sri Rama Sene barged into St Thomas school alleging that the teachers teach Arabic to the students against their will. The Headmaster had appointed a teacher to teach Arabic to the students who were willing to learn Arabic. Some parents were not happy with this and informed the activists of Sri Rama Sene. Based on the complaints received from the parents, SRS activists barged into the school on July 30 and created panic among the students and teachers.

A case was registered in the Rural police station.
